Imagining Church

Koru_1

Paul writesMy ongoing imaginings – the kind of church I would like to be a part of.

Key Questions – the responses to which will sit as part of the core of who we are as a distinctive Christian community.

  1. Who are we as a church in this context?
  2. Why are we here?
  3. Where is God at work?
  4. What will define us as a church? What will be our character and distinctives? Our values and virtues?
  5. What is it that we are called to be and do in this place?
  6. What is it that we will tend, protect, and nourish in this place?
  7. Who is God for those in this place where we are?
  8. What is Gospel in this place where we are?

I wonder...will you (with the help of the Holy Spirit, of course) build this church, or will you find it sometime, somewhere?
