Paul, thanks so much for this - the inside outside dynamic is full of all sorts of contradictions - many of us who are seen to be inside are in many ways outside.
What interests me in the missional approach is the push on the one hand to be somehow counter-cultural and the push on the other to be of culture - to speak to culture.
Anyway you will have gathered that things at a personal level are a little complex at the moment so I'll leave it at that for now ...

BTW I had some Froment not Fromont in my congregation they always liked singing Psalm 147 verse 14 le meilleur du froment - not sure whether fromont has the same root though.

Will try to pick up your post in weeks to come. for now simply thanks
