I was sent a document last week with the following statement included in it:
“…Critical intelligence is a gift God gives to humanity.
To use it in the cause of human dignity and insight is one of the great ways of serving the Divine.
When faith represses questions, it dies.
When faith accepts superficial answers, it withers.
Faith is not opposed to doubt.
What faith is opposed to is the shallow certainty that what we understand is all there is…?”
